When White Women Need Ratings: Cardi + the Conservatives

So let's get 3 things out of the way before I get started:

  1. I'm all for the belief that once you put something out publicly you've opened yourself up to comments and critics and you have to deal with that.

  2. I agree that in some ways social media is definitely just social media and it holds little to no weight on anyone's personal value, happiness in life, nor their success.

  3. Yes, Cardi is a T+ C fave, but facts are simply facts.

Listen, I'M TIRED!!! Like 80 hour work week, single mom of 8 kids, off 3 melatonin tired. I've tried to just leave all of this on social media where it lives, but I just feel like at this point, here in 2019, some of this shit is too dead to keep going on.

Because I love social media just as much as the next millennial I, like everyone else, have had a front-row seat to the foolery that is two politically charged white women trolling someone minding their own goddamn business on their own platform.

A Timeline:

January 16, 2019- Cardi posts a video urging her fans to stay vigilant as lord cheeto calls for Government workers to go back to work unpaid as the shutdown continues. This video, of course, goes viral.

January 19, 2019- Thousands of women gather in their respective cities to march for women's rights. Hundreds of these women carried Cardi B themed signs with quotes from her 1/16 video.

January 20, 2019- Crumb Dust Barbie hops on Twitter to talk smack about Cardi for voicing her opinion on the shutdown.

Looks like @iamcardib is the latest genius political mind to endorse the Democrats. HA! Keep it up, guys! #MAGA2020

Here's the thing, I'm so sick of political "journalists" seeking out celebrities for the purpose of gaining clout. Tampon Lasagna has built her career off of this and it's so pitiful. Loosely defined political journalism is "a broad branch of journalism that includes coverage of all aspects of politics and political science, although the term usually refers specifically to coverage of civil governments and political power."

I feel like if Taco-breath Loserberg wants to call someone out for speaking on topics outside of their lane, then she might want to check her mirrors because she clearly pulled up on Cardi blvd.

Cardi herself admitted that she doesn't fully understand the specifics of the Government shutdown and how it all works, hence her urging her fans to get educated and pay attention. It kills me that people like Tidalwave Lampshade go out of their way to make something out of literally nothing just so they can be included in the conversation. Why are we still allowing this?

She like her master, Lord Gouda, also loves claiming that black people and liberals create false narratives to push their agendas and make the opposing side look bad. This is laughable because, like the Sith Lord, Trashcan Leftovers does this EXACT same thing and pretends like she doesn't.

In a tweet regarding the January 19 women's march she stated:

Just a friendly reminder: a California Women’s March was canceled for being “too white.” Sounds like selective female empowerment to me but you do you. #WomensMarch

This tweet paints a picture that someone outside of the event's core team forced them to cancel their event when that is FAR from the truth. On the Facebook page for the event the following statement can be found:

"Up to this point, the participants have been overwhelmingly white, lacking representation from several perspectives in our community,” the Facebook statement read. “Instead of pushing forward with crucial voices absent, the organizing team will take time for more outreach.”

In a follow-up news release, the organizers of the Eureka Women’s March acknowledged that their leadership team is currently majority-white, and said the decision was made to “ensure that the people most impacted by systems of oppression have an opportunity to participate in planning.”

So you're telling me that instead of saluting these white queens for trying to do the right thing and make sure that they actually understand the change they were trying to impact, yal's girl tried to drum up some reverse racism nonsense.

Where is the stop button for this? Where is all that "all lives matter" energy? Where are the motherfuckers who care about facts???

AND, if that wasn't enough, Toothpaste Liverworts' little Cardi buzz gave another one of you "pick me", news anchor Barbie bitched the gas to fix her Twitter finger and also come for Cardi chasing clout.

January 20, 2019 conservative columnist Sandpaper Housemaid tweets the following with a clip from the Twerk video:

In the Era of #meToo how exactly does this empower women? Leftists, @iamcardib , feel free to chime in. THX ..

So let's just clear something up, Ms. Journalist, the #Metoo movement aims to shine a light on and stop sexual harassment and sexual assault. #MeToo spread virally on social media in an attempt to demonstrate the widespread prevalence of sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplace.[4][5][6]

Please help me follow what the hell any of that has to do with Cardi B shaking her perfect ass in a video with a bunch of baddies who have made the choice to do the same? ...I'll wait.

When Cardi read her to sleep this is all Snotnose Hashbrown had to say:

I agree, No means NO, NO MATTER what! But this video, & others like this sexually objectify women. I think this hurts all women & the cause. We're not sex OBJECTS! Clearly, we see things differently, (maybe I'm just a hater bc I can't Twerk ) Come on my show, debate me!

And there, people, you have it - "come on my show, debate me!" You mean to tell me that there is NO ONE ELSE who actually does this politics shit that you have scheduled for your show. You're willing to put your journalistic value on the line to debate CARDI B (Souljah Boy Voice)? You have THIS MUCH time?

Let me also mention that this smells a lot like that selective female empowerment your sis Tasteless Longjohns was talking about, but yal got it.

Spam Handtowel also had her own comments about this year's Women's March responding to Chelsea Handler's reverse magateering:

"Imagine being so desperate to be relevant you DUNK on Christian Teenagers .. and still no apology 13 hours after this tweet was posted. What a disgrace !! #magateens"

If we're going there, sis, how desperate to be relevant do you have to be to troll celebrities and current hot topic minority politicians? If I'm not mistaken the Cardi tweet is one of your biggest tweets to date right next to you trolling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I mean do I need to sit the pot and kettle out for you? It's crazy to me that at this point people are still supporting high school gossip girls who start drama for attention. At some point, we have to step back and realize that a large majority of the "political" conversations that go on in our faces are nonsense. We also have to stop allowing people to prosper and gain platforms for bullying and flat out lying. I mean LOOK AT OUR PRESIDENT! I'm not asking everyone to drop everything and start magically seeing eye to eye but I am asking where the hell did decorum, fact-checking, and minding your own business go?

Though I'm well aware that Toothpick Lazyboy + Sideswipe Hemroid are trash I need more of you to check your friends when they're supporting their hateful, false rhetoric. I need more of you to use your Twitter fingers to correct the lies they spread and check the people retweeting them.

We can't continue to sit back and act like everyone knows better and no one is really listening. Look where we are right now.
