Pennywise Halloween Makeup
Though I love horror movies a lot now, that wasn’t always the case. In a post I shared on Out of Her Mouth I talked about how as a kid my mother loved horror movies. She would bring us along with her to the theatre to watch the latest slasher film, and though I could save face in the moment I was terrified. I had crazy nightmares for a long time and slept with a teddy bear for longer than I’d like to admit.
In addition to Candy Man and Freddie Krueger, which I mention in the feature post, Pennywise had me shook. Even with him not being the complete terror he is today I was not trying to go to a single birthday party if there was going to be a clown there. Clowns were a no for me then, and to be honest they’re still a no for me now. To this day I haven’t seen a single one of these new “IT” movies. Yal can have it. I will not.
